New Delhi: The successful LVM3-M5 mission yesterday carried the heaviest satellite ever deployed from Indian soil to geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO). To achieve this mission for the customer, the Indian Navy, ISRO centres had to work together to enhance many aspects of the rocket, the Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LVM3), which is the mightiest operational launch vehicle in ISRO’s fleet.
