LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Fire Department responded to a structure fire Friday afternoon on Lyndhurst Place.
According to Battalion Chief Derek Roberts, crews were dispatched around 4:27 p.m. to a report of smoke inside a home at 257 Lyndhurst. Firefighters arrived to find light smoke and upgraded the call to a structure fire.
They quickly located and extinguished a small fire, containing it to the room of origin. No injuries were reported, but one person was displaced.
Fire investigators remain on scene to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
