Hyderabad, Nov 3: The Kanara Catholic Welfare Association (KCWA), Hyderabad, celebrated Monthi Fest with faith and festivity, followed by its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on 14th September 2025 at St Francis Chapel and School, Secunderabad.

The day began with children joyfully carrying baskets of flowers and showering them on Infant Mary, a tradition symbolizing purity and devotion. The procession to the chapel was a beautiful sight, setting the tone for the solemn eucharistic celebration in Konkani and English. Fr Praveen Dsouza and Fr Valentine D'Mello celebrated mass, accompanied by a stirring Konkani choir that reminded everyone that “singing well is praying twice.”
