An Air India flight traveling from Delhi to Bengaluru made an emergency landing at Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport on Monday night after the pilot detected a technical issue mid-air.

According to Airport Director Ramji Awasthi, the flight landed safely at 8:15 PM as a precautionary measure.

“It’s a standard safety procedure when the pilot notices something unusual in the aircraft’s system. The plane was inspected after landing, and everything is normal now,” Awasthi said.

Aircraft to resume journey after inspection

After thorough inspection and refueling, the aircraft is being prepared to resume its journey to Bengaluru.

“All 172 passengers and crew members are completely safe. No one faced any discomfort. The flight will depart shortly after routine checks,” Awasthi added.
