MOUNDSVILLE – The Washington Lands Volunteer Fire Department’s chief’s pickup truck was stolen over the weekend while he was responding to a call for service.

The department posted on its social media that Chief Chad Watkins was responding to an emergency call at the Washington Lands United Methodist Church when his vehicle went missing. It’s a black 2021 Dodge Ram with a brush guard on the front and a memorial sticker on the back window.

The vehicle was last seen traveling south on W.Va. 2 toward New Martinsville.
