A Texas man who purchased an Oklahoma Lottery scratcher in Bartlesville walked away with the top $5 million prize this week.
Ernesto of Iowa Park, Texas, purchased $100 Deluxe Gold Scratcher at the Food Pyramid on Washington St. in Bartlesville. Ernesto's last name was not provided to the media.
He said he would use his winnings to buy land and build a new home while paying off some debt.
“I bought the ticket thinking maybe — just maybe — I could make it all happen,” he said in a news release.
