As we turn our backs on October and Halloween, many retailers are beginning to launch their new Christmas adverts ready for the festive season.

This year Asda is among the first of the major supermarkets to reveal a Christmas advert and shoppers are already branding it a huge success.

Asda has revealed a 90 second film addressing the cost of living pressures faced by many shoppers this winter and, while not all supermarkets have released a Christmas advert as of yet, many shoppers are saying the retailer has already "won" with its festive commercial.

To the tune of 'Let it Snow', the store's advert features the Grinch who moans of "frightful prices" and "spenny gifts" before being amazed by a range of low prices in an Asda supermarket.
