CARMEL, Ind. — Police continue to unravel the various crimes of a Carmel nurse practitioner who already faces nearly 30 felony charges.

Katherine Curtis, 34, was ordered last week to be held on a $200,000 bond after police accused the woman of prescription fraud— overprescribing medications and writing fraudulent prescriptions to numerous patients all over Indiana through her business, Reclaim Wellness.

“We’re committed to keeping illegal narcotics off the streets," said IMPD Lt. Justin Gough. "It doesn’t matter if it’s coming from a drug dealer or a medical professional. We’re committed to keeping them off the street."
