SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Jury selection in the double murder trial of Dima Tower has been postponed until Monday, November 10, according to court officials.

Tower faces two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Jennifer and Robbie Tower in August 2023.

Police found the victims dead inside their home, covered in blood with multiple stab wounds.

Prosecutors said Tower led police on a high-speed chase on I-75 before fleeing on foot into a wooded area in Venice. He was later apprehended.

The jury selection was originally scheduled to begin this morning.
