One of the two men who were rescued after they fell through ice near Alaska’s Lockhart Point over the weekend has died, authorities confirmed.
An updated news release from the Alaska Department of Public Safety stated that Elmer Brown Sr., 46, died at a local area health clinic, adding that Brown’s next of kin have been notified.
According to the department, authorities received a report on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 1, that Brown and two other men were riding a snowmachine and two 4-wheelers
