Lonie Bell Turman, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, at the age of 89, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.

He was born December 5, 1935, in Franklin, TN, to the late Felix L. and Ruby (Ragsdale) Turman. Lonnie was a Retired U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. His sense of duty led him to proudly serve in the United States Army, where he honed his skills at Signal Repair School, as he was a Radar repairman.

He was a beacon of strength and love to his family, especially his granddaughters, who saw him as a true role model and a wonderful father figure. Lonnie will be remembered as the sweetest man in the world, someone who always enjoyed a good laugh, a jokester, and very hardworking. He was known to be patient, kind, and caring.
