MacArthur Center is losing another tenant.
Brothers will close on Dec. 31 after being in business for five years . The restaurant, owned by Norfolk native and NBA referee Tony Brothers, announced on Facebook that it made the decision because of the uncertainty around the mall’s future. The restaurant moved there in 2023 from nearby Plume Street in downtown Norfolk.
There’s still time to patronize the spot known for its chops, seafood and spirits. It will remain open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until its last day. “The Brothers Concert Series might pop up somewhere else,” Brothers said, but he didn’t share when or where.
Meanwhile, he said he and his family are focusing on Brothers’ run for Norfolk mayor in 2028.
