SEDALIA, Mo - A Sedalia man was arraigned this morning following his arrest over the weekend on Pettis County drug charges.
According to a probable cause statement, a Pettis County Deputy stopped 45-year-old Joseph Lee Card at around 5:45 Friday evening for an active warrant. Upon being stopped Card was arrested for the warrant.
Card admitted to being in possession of drugs upon his arrest. A search revealed two bags of methamphetamine in Card's pockets. After being taken to the Pettis County Jail a substance that tested positive for fentanyl was found among Card's contraband.
Card is facing one count each of second-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
