A townhouse fire in Mission Monday morning displaced six people.

Mission Fire Rescue Service tells 1130 News Radio that crews were called to Fraser Crescent near Logan Avenue and were able to contain the fire to one unit.

While no one was injured, crews say the property has significant damage from the fire.

The cause of the blaze is now under investigation.

The Mission RCMP says the Cedar Valley Connector was closed to northbound traffic from north of Lougheed Highway to Ross Drive as a result of the fire.

“Southbound traffic is open, but there may be delays, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes,” Mounties added in a post to social media.
