PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man accused of shooting a woman during a road rage incident in the West Valley last month has been indicted on multiple charges, officials announced Monday.
Rudy Sanchez, Jr., 20, is facing five felony charges in connection with a shooting that happened on Oct. 11 in the area of Peoria Avenue and the Loop 101 . That day, first responders were called to an incident where a woman was found with a gunshot wound to her leg.
Prosecutors say Sanchez left the scene before police arrived. He was identified as the suspect and arrested a few days later.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office says that on Oct. 22, a grand jury indicted Sanchez, Jr. on two counts of aggravated assault, one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm, one count of discharging a firearm at a
