A broadcast camera is wrapped in a Monday Night Football logo before the game between the Houston Texans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at NRG Stadium.

Football fans looking to watch Monday night's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals will have to tune in somewhere other than YouTube TV amid the platform's ongoing dispute with Disney.

Disney's content − including channels like ESPN and ABC, which each carry "Monday Night Football" − was pulled from YouTube TV on Oct. 30 after the companies could not reach a new contractual agreement.

"Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV," the live television streamer said in a statement on Oct. 30.

YouTube TV accused Disney of proposing "costly economic terms that would raise prices on YouTube TV customers and give our customers fewer choices." On the other side, Disney has said Google, YouTube TV's parent company, "is using its market dominance to eliminate competition and undercut the industry-standard terms we’ve successfully negotiated with every other distributor."

Google also rejected Disney's plea for ABC to be restored on YouTube TV on Tuesday, Nov. 4, which is Election Day in some parts of the country.

Here's the latest.

YouTube TV rejects Disney's request to restore ABC for election

Disney said in a statement to USA TODAY that it asked YouTube TV to restore ABC on the platform for Tuesday, Nov. 4, which is an off-year election day.

“Despite the impasse that led to the current blackout, we have asked YouTube TV to restore ABC for Election Day so subscribers have access to the information they rely on," the statement said. "We believe in putting the public interest first and hope YouTube TV will take this small step for their customers while we continue to work toward a fair agreement.”

Google rejected the request on Nov. 3, saying in part that "the vast majority of tuned in YouTube TV subscribers chose not to watch ABC" during past elections. It added that Disney's single-day proposal would cause "customer confusion."

YouTube TV offers $20 credit if Disney channels remain pulled

YouTube TV said it will offer subscribers a $20 credit if the Disney channels remain unavailable for an "extended period of time."

As for when it will offer the credit, YouTube TV told USA TODAY it will alert subscribers when it is available.
