State Employment and Skill Development minister Saurabh Bahuguna signed a memorandum of understanding with TVS Motors on Monday. He expressed gratitude to TVS Motors, stating that this initiative to provide employment for youth is highly commendable. The MoU will facilitate the establishment of ITIs in Dehradun, Almora and Srinagar as centres of excellence, which is expected to positively impact youth employment and increase their salaries.

Bahuguna said that the Dehradun centre will offer training to youth. He highlighted that in the last two and a half years, approximately 21 centres of excellence have been established in collaboration with companies such as Tata Technologies, Festo, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors and Philips.
