The Govindarajnagar police have arrested a 24-year-old private firm employee for kiling his senior colleague with a dumbell over a trivial row at office during late night shift on Friday night .

The deceased has been identified as Bhimesh Babu,41, native of Vijayawada,while the accused,Somala Vamshi, both were working at Data Digital Bank located in MC Layout.

The accused walked into the station and confessed to the murder informing he wanted to surrender after the murder,the police,said.

Senior officer said both were employed with Data Digital Bank,which also handled short film shoots.They used to stay overnight in the company premises regularly.

Around 1:30 am,a fight broke out between the two over the issue of switching off the light,which escalated into violence.
