HANOVER TWP. — A woman from Nanticoke was identified as the victim who died in a two vehicle head-on crash on Sans Souci Parkway on Friday.
Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes said Aaliyah Jones, 32, died from multiple traumatic injuries due to a motor vehicle accident following an autopsy on Monday.
The crash happened on Sans Souci near Linden Drive as Jones was traveling south in the passing lane when she was struck head-on by a vehicle operated by a male traveling north at about 11:30 a.m. Friday.
The male driver and two occupants, a woman and a toddler, were transported to a local hospital.
Jones was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Hanover Township police.
