LANSING — A former corrections officer at Women's Huron Valley Correctional Facility has been arraigned on sexual assault charges, Attorney General Dana Nessel announced Nov. 3.
Joshua Lee, 22, of Wyandotte, is charged with four counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, Nessel said in a news release. Each charge is a 15-year felony.
Lee allegedly "engaged in multiple sexual acts with several prisoners while working at the prison," according to the news release.
Lee was arraigned Oct. 30 in 14A District Court in Ypsilanti before Magistrate Odetalla M. Odetalla, the release said. Lee is next due in court Nov. 6., before Judge J. Cedric Simpson.
