The 43-year-old singer’s decision to step away from social media comes amid renewed public attention on her strained relationship with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whose upcoming memoir has reportedly caused tension.

According to People, Spears’ account went offline on Sunday, November 2. Fans visiting her profile were met with a message stating that her “profile may have been removed.”

Before deactivating her account, the 43-year-old singer had posted several dancing videos referencing her sons, Jayden James (19) and Sean Preston (20), while disabling comments on the posts.
