A Baton Rouge man has been arrested in connection to a fatal crash in St. George that killed a 20-year-old woman on Halloween night.
Hector Munoz, 20, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Saturday for underage drinking while driving. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said he was responsible for a crash that killed 20-year-old Jacqueline Carmona, the front passenger in his car.
According to sheriff's officials at just after 10:40 p.m., October 31, deputies were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection on Coursey Boulevard, George O'Neal Road, and Jones Creek Road.
A witness told police that Munoz's Nissan Maxima was traveling westbound on George O'Neal when he ran a red light, turning left on Jones Creek.
