CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Authorities have identified the patient accused of assaulting a medic and fleeing from an ambulance during an overdose transport in Clearfield County.
According to the Clearfield Regional Police Department, the suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Charles Myers Jr. of Osceola Mills. Police said Myers became combative inside the ambulance while being transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield, forcing it to stop near Park Place and Bridge Street.
Myers then allegedly pushed the paramedic out of the ambulance and fled on foot. He was last seen heading west on Bigler Avenue, police said.
