LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Academy award winning filmmaker Kevin Willmott will speak in Little Rock about work throughout his career.

The Arkansas Cinema Society and the University of Arkansas Little Rock School of Mass Communication will host Willmott at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the CALS Main Library.

Willmott will show scenes from his work as a screenwriter, director and documentarian at the Fred Darragh Center for Intellectual Freedom on the fifth floor of the library.

Willmott co-wrote with Spike Lee on the feature film “Blackkklansman,” which won him an Academy Award. He also co-wrote the feature films “Da Five Bloods” and “Chi-Raq” with Lee.
