Michigan’s football escaped with a 21-16 victory over Purdue on Saturday night, but the win wasn’t nearly as comfortable as most pundits expected
The Wolverines entered as heavy favorites against a Purdue team that hadn’t won a Big Ten game since 2023, but they didn’t put the Boilermakers away until a 6-minute drive in the fourth quarter milked the remainder of the clock.
On the latest episode of “Wolverine Confidential” podcast, the crew discussed Michigan’s struggles offensively, particularly throw the air. Freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood had two turnovers inside the red zone and finished 13 of 22 passing for just 145 yards.
“He missed several of his receivers, especially early,” MLive’s Aaron McMann said. “It was off. You can tell the passing attack was not in sync.”
