NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Governor Bill Lee and First Lady Maria Lee have invited Tennesseans to tour the Tennessee Residence this holiday season.
The residence will be open to the public from Friday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 7 and from Friday, Dec. 12 through Sunday, Dec. 14 for self-guided tours. The tours aren't just to give Tennesseans a glimpse of the residence, though — the Lees have selected five nonprofits across the state, and attendees are encouraged to bring donations. The organization is collecting items for child susurvivors of sexual and severe physical abuse in West Tennessee, is seeking $25-50 gift cards to Kroger, Walmart, Family Dollar or Dollar General; new, colorful teddy bears at least 1
