Dr. Seuss’s The Sneetches is now available on streaming!

The Dr. Seuss animated special arrives on Netflix today (Monday, November 3).

Here’s a plot summary: “Once upon a time, there were Star-Belly Sneetches and Moon-Belly Sneetches who lived together on the beach, until one day they decided they were too different to live together. So they went their separate ways. But then Stella, a Star-Belly Sneetch, met Pearl, a Moon-Belly Sneetch, and they realized Sneetches are Sneetches, and no one kind of Sneetch is the best on the beaches.”

The book was first published in 1961 as part of The Sneetches and Other Stories collection, about bird-like creatures called the Sneetches. This is the third exclusive Dr. Seuss-inspired animation to appear on Netflix, following Red Fish, Blue Fis
