COLUMBUS — Gov. Mike DeWine on Friday announced the appointment of Matthew B. Kripke, chief executive officer of Kripke Enterprises, to the University of Toledo Board of Trustees through July 1, 2031.

In other action related to northwest Ohio, the governor:

● Appointed Jessica R. Bryant of Sylvania to the Third Frontier Commission through April 1, 2028.

● Reappointed Mario Baker of Bowling Green to the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board through Aug. 27, 2028.

● Reappointed Richard C. Hylant of Ottawa Hills to the Great Lakes Protection Fund Board through Oct. 10, 2027.

● Reappointed Kent J. Appelhans of Pemberville to the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services through Nov. 12, 2026.
