The Los Angeles Dodgers went from waiting for a championship parade to earning back-to-back celebrations.
After forcing a seven-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays , the Dodgers defended their crown with a 5-4 win in 11-innings on Saturday to repeat as World Series champions.
It marks the first time in 25 years a franchise has won back-to-back MLB titles.
Los Angeles only took a day off after the World Series victory before celebrating the championship with its local fans.
The parade started at Temple Street and Broadway Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. It turned from Temple Street onto Grand Avenue, then down 7th Street and concluded on Figueroa Street.
Los Angeles then concluded with a sold out rally at Dodger Stadium.
