(FOX40.COM) — The Placer County District Attorney's Office has launched its AppSafe initiative after a Lincoln man was sentenced to over 270 years to life for preying on young girls on Snapchat.
The DA's office said that the Lincoln Police Department responded to a report of a 26-year-old Marco Montejano grabbing a young girl into his apartment to perform a sex act.

The investigation revealed that the man had preyed on multiple victims from the same apartment complex.
According to the DA's office, the victims reported that Montejano reached out to them on Snapchat, despite the lack of an online friendship and mutual friends in common.
