MEMPHIS, Tenn. — We're working to learn more after video viewed by WREG appears to show a Memphis Police cruiser possibly strike a child walking through a Whitehaven crosswalk Monday morning.

The video we saw appears to show the child will physically recover, as he was walking and communicating after the incident.

Looking at the video, it appears the child's hand must've been struck by the cruiser as he was walking through a crosswalk at a busy intersection at Raines and Auburn Road, just yards from a police precinct.

Just after 8 Monday morning, we saw multiple police cruisers and emergency vehicles.
