IRMO, S.C. (WIS) - The Town of Irmo has set the date for its first-ever Christmas parade.
The town announced Monday that the event will begin at 9 a.m. on Dec. 6. The parade route will begin at Crossroads Intermediate School and end near the McDonald’s location on St. Andrews Road.

In its announcement, the town said the event will be “filled with festive floats, marching bands, local businesses and organizations, and even a special appearance from Santa himself!”
The Town of Irmo also said it’s accepting applications online for those who want to be involved in the parade. Registration closes on Nov. 21.
