(QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer is under investigation after a video, that's now been shared across social media, shows him throwing a teenage girl to the ground as she was reportedly punching people outside West Charlotte High School.
Family claims the officer's actions resulted in a brain bleed and emotional trauma.
Video of the fight shows the CMPD officer with a Taser out. He's seen picking up a girl as she's punching someone and slams her to the ground.
She appears to be unconscious as he puts her hands behind her back.
"The normal reaction is, 'That was a lot of force to be used on a teenager,'" said Dr. Roy Taylor, a police
