GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Marion County officials are collecting donations of non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, and baby supplies to help families in the area.
Bring the Harvest Home is one of the largest food drives in north central Florida.
Residents can donate at drop-off locations in Marion County before December 5 or bring donations to the Downtown Square on December 5.
LIST OF ITEMS NEEDED:
Dry foods and complementary goods (rice, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, crackers, peanut butter, jelly). Plastic containers preferred.
Canned meat (corned beef, chicken, ham, tuna)
Canned vegetables and fruits
Baby items (food, diapers, lotion, wipes)
Toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper)
