Minnesota state Speaker Lisa Demuth said on Monday that she “would definitely welcome” an endorsement from President Donald Trump in her bid against Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) next year.

After announcing her entrance in the gubernatorial race on Sunday, the Republican challenger is seeking Trump’s support.
