FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The man who died after a stabbing outside a Carl's Jr. in Fresno on Halloween night was identified by the Fresno Police Department on Monday.
Officers say they responded to Griffith Avenue and Blackstone Avenue on Friday at around 8:20 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. The victim later passed away at the hospital.
On Monday, the victim was identified as 44-year-old Manuel Lopez.
Fresno Police also announced an arrest in connection with Lopez's death. Officers say they located a suspect, 43-year-old Ashton Dejean, near the scene. Dejean has since been booked into the Fresno County Jail.
A motive for the stabbing has not been established, investigators say.
