CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - Police arrested two people after a house was damaged by gunfire over the weekend in Carbondale.
According to the Carbondale Police Department, officers heard gunshots near the 400 block of W. Cherry Street around 12:25 a.m. on November 2. When they arrived, the officers saw several people in the area running away.
After further investigation, officers found two guns that had been thrown out, as well as empty bullet casings.
According to the police department, 18-year-old Brandon J. Moore of Oklahoma was arrested for resisting and obstructing a peace officer, and 39-year-old Lanika L. White of Carbondale was arrested on a Jackson County warrant for driving with a suspended license.
