FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A suspect was hit and killed while fleeing at the end of a chase early Monday morning on I-75/85 in south Atlanta, Georgia State Patrol said.
According to the GSP and the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, the chase began shortly after 3:30 a.m. with Clayton County deputies pursuing a stolen 2024 Chevrolet Silverado on I-75 North.
GSP said a PIT maneuver "was executed on the suspect vehicle, causing it to come to a stop" on the interstate. At that point, the suspect, later identified as Moshe Williams, 44, got out and tried to run across the interstate on foot.
The suspect fell, according to GSP, and one car braked in front of him and was able to avoid hitting him.
But a second car rear-ended the first car, and the suspect was run over by the first car that had brake
