BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — The Beckley Police Department has released additional information regarding a suspicious item found in a trick-or-treat basket on Halloween.
According to a press release, the origin of a prescription fentanyl vial that was reportedly found in a child's trick-or-treat basket on Halloween was traced to a local medical facility by the Beckley Police Department.
The press release stated that the facility is working with investigators and the incident remains under active investigation. The Beckley Police Department stated that no further information will be given, and the name of the facility is not being released.
