USA Volleyball announced the roster for its first-ever girls U17 national team on Sunday, and the Metroplex had plenty of representation.

In the midst of standout sophomore seasons with their respective high schools, Allen's Maya Ogbogu, Plano's Bella Osborn and Hebron's Taylor Johnson were all selected for the 12-player roster, which will take the court on Tuesday in San Jose, Costa Rica, at the NORCECA U17 Continental Championship.
