This time last year, the Haughey family were excitedly awaiting the arrival of a new baby , but the past year has been more heartbreaking than they could never have imagined. ‌

On December 27 2024, after a perfect pregnancy Natasha Haughey welcomed her beautiful little girl Ava Nicola into the world, much to the delight of her husband Gareth, 37, and big brother, James, aged three, reports Belfast Live. ‌

However, Natasha, 33, had picked up a virus during the last week of her pregnancy and passed it onto her daughter who tragically could not fight it off. ‌
