(FOX40.COM) — Veteran's Day is almost here and many Sacramento region restaurants are offering free meals, deals and events for those who have served.

In-N-Out officials shared that veterans, active-duty military, reserves and National Guard receive a complimentary meal, including any burger, fries, and beverage on the menu. Customers do need to present proof of military service.

Applebee's announced that veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a free meal from a select menu at participating locations. However, it's Dine-in only.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse shared that active-duty and retired military members dining in at BJ’s with a valid military ID will receive a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie.
