LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Kentucky State Police are searching for a suspect in a homicide that happened Monday, Nov. 3.

KSP said they were called to a residence on Simpson Lake around 1 p.m. and found 55-year-old Mary Crase of Brandenburg shot and killed.

Police said they are currently looking for the alleged suspect, who they identified as 45-year-old Scott Hornback of Irvington, in the Ekron area, around Osbourne Road and Burgundy Lane.

Hornback is described as a 5′8," 135-pound, white male with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police urge the public not to approach Honroback if seen, as he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call KSP Post 4 at (270) 766-5078 or 911 immediately.
