Athens High hosts event connecting students with career opportunities in aviation, aerospace

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) — Athens High School hosted the AviNation 'American Dream Tour' on Monday, giving students an up-close look at careers in both aviation and aerospace.

The event included a live helicopter landing on campus, a special assembly and breakout sessions featuring guest speakers such as Pryor Field Airport Authority CEO Adam Fox, United Airlines Captain Nathan Maki, AviNation Business Development Manager Tom Flavin, and more.
