Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week: Webster Area senior leads by example

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Willa Stern leads by example, and not just with good grades in the classroom.

“As student body president, I’ve had the opportunity to work with every grade level. I hope to do my best, to give the best example. I also think it’s very important to me that students remember that no matter what grades you have, people are going to remember how you made them feel. So being a good person is just as important as being a good scholar,” said Willa.

“Willa is very independent, and she asks a lot of questions. She has a genuine interest, and that curiosity is really fun to teach,” said Webster social studies teacher Adam Mines.
