FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- With California's special election now one day away, Fresno County's Election Warehouse is ramping up.
"Things are very busy," County Clerk and Registrar of Voters James Kus told Action News on Monday. "We're continuing with our solid turnout."
Kus confirms nearly 130,000 Fresno County voters have already cast their ballots.
Almost all of the county's vote centers are now open.
"We have 26 locations plus our downtown office, and we will be opening a one-day pop-up in Mendota open from 7 AM until 8 PM," Kus said.
Voters are deciding on Proposition 50, the state's effort to draw new congressional lines that would temporarily favor Democrats after Republicans acted first in Texas.
"We really need to see what happens today and tomorrow," Kus said.
