Most school districts in Spartanburg County surpassed the state's 2025 high school graduation rate.

That's according to the South Carolina Department of Education School Report Cards, published on Nov. 3.

Spartanburg District 1 boasted the highest graduation rate in 2025 -- 94.6 percent at Chapman High School and 94.1 percent at Landrum High School. Both were down slightly from the previous year, though still strong enough to earn an "excellent" rating in the report's category for graduation rates.
