Thirty-five-year-old Dani Korkis faced a judge in an El Cajon court room at his arraignment for a felony hit and run accident that sent a 12-year-old boy to the hospital.

During the hearing on Monday, prosecutors revealed that Korkis already had two open felony evading police cases, as well as a reckless driving charge. Those incidents all took place prior to the hit-and-run on Oct. 22 on Ballantyne Avenue, in El Cajon.

Korkis allegedly evaded police in both July and August of this past summer, according to prosecutors, then, according to court documents, failed to appear in court for one of those earlier charges.
