Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (November 3, 2025) slammed the Mahagathbandhan for keeping Bihar in ‘misery’ for decades. While addressing a rally in Katihar, the Prime Minister said, “These people kept Bihar in misery for decades because development was never on their agenda. Under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the NDA gave Bihar good governance. It brought development.”

Meanwhile, PM Modi hailed the transformation of the state under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), stating, “Where there was despair and frustration during the Jungle Raj, good governance brings new dreams and new resolve.
