Parrish wins 3A Region-3: The Parrish Community girls golf team won its region on Monday, a week after claiming a district title. The Bulls shot a 301, beating out second-place Lutz George Steinbrenner (310) by nine strokes. Venice carded a 319 to finish in third place, Lakewood Ranch shot 325 to finish in fourth and Riverview shot 366 to come in seventh.

Evyn Cannon, a sophomore at Venice, earned individual medalist honors with a 72. Natalie Angelo, a junior at Parrish, placed second with a 73. Phoenix Scanlan, a junior at Parrish, shot 74 and tied for third. Ella Gardner, a junior at Venice, shot a 75 to tie for fifth.
